About Groenewas
Groenewas is a textile printing and embroidery company in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, with more than 20 years of experience. We work for merch companies, agencies and retail-related clients in the UK.
We print and embroider in our own workshop in Nijmegen: screen printing (specialising in water-based inks, including puff and discharge), embroidery and digital printing. We are an official AS Colour print and embroidery partner and a Stanley/Stella Official Dealer.
What we produce
We supply complete merch packages: T-shirts, hoodies, caps and bags, printed or embroidered to your specifications. We supply the full AS Colour and Stanley/Stella ranges. The minimum order is 10 pieces per design, including embroidery.
Two ways to work with us
Delivery to the UK. We print and embroider your order in Nijmegen and ship it to your address, or addresses, in the UK.
Production and delivery within the EU. Touring in Europe, or running an EU webshop, venue or warehouse? We produce in Nijmegen and deliver to your addresses within the EU.
What we arrange
For every shipment to the UK, we prepare a commercial invoice and the export documents. They show:
- a customs description for each item;
- the customs value, including the printing or embroidery;
- the EORI numbers of the exporter and the importer;
- the Incoterm (the agreed delivery terms);
- the weights and the number of packages.
On request, our quote can show the HS code, country of origin and customs value for each item. This helps you estimate import duty and UK VAT before you order. The final amounts are determined at import.
How delivery works
Our standard delivery term is DAP (Delivered at Place). We deliver to your door in the UK, and you pay any import duty and UK VAT due.
You are always the importer. For every shipment, we provide a commercial invoice showing the customs description and customs value of each item.
Parcels are sent by our regular courier. For pallets and larger consignments, we agree the transport with you when we quote. We agree the delivery date with you when we confirm your order, and plan production around it.
What you need
To prepare your order and its paperwork, we need:
- your GB EORI number;
- who will act as the importer;
- the delivery address, or addresses;
- your deadline.
Approved accounts can order on our standard credit terms. Ask us about opening an account.
How to get started
- Send us your designs and quantities, plus the details listed above.
- We advise on the technique and garments, and send you a quote. On request, it shows the HS code, country of origin and customs value for each item.
- Once you approve the quote, we confirm the delivery date and start production.
- We ship your order with the export documents, or deliver it within the EU.
Frequently asked questions
You are. You import the goods with your own GB EORI number. For every shipment, we provide a commercial invoice showing the customs description and customs value of each item.
Usually, yes. Printing or embroidery in the Netherlands does not change the garment’s country of origin. Import duty depends on the item and the origin of the textile, and UK import VAT is also due. The importer pays these costs.
DAP (Delivered at Place) is our standard delivery term. We deliver to your door, and you are always the importer.
Each shipment comes with a commercial invoice. It shows the customs description and customs value of each item, including printing or embroidery. It also shows both EORI numbers, the Incoterm, the weights and the number of packages.
Yes. Send us the addresses, the quantities and the importer for each address when you request a quote. Each shipment then gets its own export documents.
Yes. We produce in Nijmegen and deliver within the EU, for example to a venue, a warehouse or your webshop fulfilment partner. Tell us the addresses and the dates you need the goods.
Your GB EORI number, who will act as the importer, your delivery addresses and your deadline. If you would like to order on credit terms, ask us about opening an account.
Your garments are printed or embroidered in the Netherlands. The textile keeps its own country of origin, which is often outside the EU. On request, we can state the country of origin of each item in our quote.
